If your not a person of faith, believing in universal interconnectedness of your soul to God why worry about the sick and downtrodden?

It’s easy to have no concern for others if your fit the following criteria.

Death and sickness for you is far away, right?
Your immortal right?
You will never get sick right?
You will never need another human being to take care of you or your loved ones right?
You were never a helpless infant ,right?
You never stood by helplessly and watched a loved one suffer and die, right?

And since their is no after life or karmic rebirth why not get yours now and the to hell with everyone else, right?

I mean God and final judgment aren’t real, right?

Human pain and suffering aren’t real, right?

So just stop reading here and keep on a running.

Just don’t look behind you. Because with each heart beat your getter closer to the big question.

But for the rest of us, people of faith, Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist and a host of others we have to wrestle with the problem of universal human health care. And we as a universal people of all compassionate faiths who have compassion for the suffering members of humanity we know we have the responsibility to help and reach out to others.

Saint Paul said, “Faith without works is dead.” We must work for faith to live.

Now the faith of us all is being put to a great test. Will we help those less fortunate than ourselves, or will we turn our backs on them and the millions of suffering human beings that come after them throughout all time?

I vote to help those in need, if not only for the sake of my own blighted soul but also for myself in the future when I am ultimately in that position of helplessness when I lay serious ill or dying. Who will help me then?

For those opposed to universal health care not only in America but world wide, I warn you now, that you will be judge by your own standards of neglect. No one gets a pass on sickness and death in this world. No one.

This is also just a smart investment idea.
Investing in a healthier humanity,what better investment possibility is there?
Science, medicine, computer technology, nano technology will all advance and produce new businesses and more jobs.

The more that we put into health care and the more and more people we help, the more medical science will advance and learn. The knowledge gained will help more and more people. The help you give today will one day save you and your family tomorrow.

All systems of faith admire helping the sick and unwell both mentally and physically. Jesus treated both the blind and demonically and mentally afflicted for example. He did not differentiate. Can we as Christians in my case do any less? Are we then even Christians? Or do we pretend to be Christians when the going is easy?

Jesus is called in German the Healer for good reason.
Why human health care is a universal human right is because you have will need this right only in a matter of time.

Many cry our for help, it is time to listen to those cries, before those cries become ours in time.

Many Tibetans use the following simple folk cure.

They will take earth from where they live with them while they travel.

When they get sick they will hold the earth to their nose and inhale the smell of the earth.
Note: They do not get the dirt into their nostrils or respiratory system. Just the smell.

Again it is only the the fragrance of the earth they sniff or smell.

They also augment this folk remedy by eating bread and fruit. I have experimented with this folk cure during my migraine attacks. The bread and fruit certainly help.

The pungent smell of the earth is an odd phenomenon in that it seems to reset my brain. My brain really fixates on the smell, which means for the moment it cannot process in the foreground the pain sensation as much.

Just like a computer with too many windows open. The brain can only time share sensations or multi-process so much information.

To me, the smell of earth stops the focal point of the thinking process in its tracks, since the smell of earth is strong and pungent. A simple method to snap the attention from pain to smell.

I hope this information provides some insight for you or researchers.

1. Living in Bloomington, Indiana, we have the Tibetan Cultural Center.
I encountered the meditation practices of the Tibetans and their use of singing bowls.

The sound waves from Tibetan singing bowls during a migraine certainly help me. During my experiments I would cause the Tibetan bowl to vibrate and hold it close to my head during the attack. Lower sounds of deeper bowls for me are better.

2. I was outside in my garden with a bad headache when a ruby throated hummingbird came really close to my head. Two male hummingbirds where sparring and as they came close to my head the sonic vibration of the hummingbird wings penetrated my head. It was like a shock, the headache was just gone.

3. These vibrations, music, nature, sounds do contain properties that seem to reset the brain into a more restful or more pain resistant state.

4. Bach’s church organ music is also very helpful. Turned down in sound volume.

I also add prayer and or meditation during the sound session. I use visualization to see the sound pushing the pain out and transforming it.

Bull Sharks in Freshwater. The Chasm of Ideas.

So, I watched the History Channel’s program “Monster Quest”, as an aside, seriously guys the mean predator semi-subliminal flash between takes is very 1950ish. Anyway the program on Fresh Water Sharks is one to take very seriously. Yikes!

It seems that in Louisiana, bull sharks are now routinely going into the fresh water rivers. Fishermen are now catching them. These are seriously big and aggressive salt water predators, some reaching ten feet in length! Yikes!

These bull sharks can live in salt and fresh water. The bull shark can “reboot itself” to live in fresh water. Yikes!

Also in the Saint Lawrence Seaway, Greenland Sharks are now coming into the St.Lawrence. The shark that was filmed was a twelve foot female Greenland shark that weighed around one thousand pound! Yikes!

So what is causing the change in shark behavior? I will offer my ideas on this subject.

1. Depletion in the food supply in the ocean.
2. Pollution of the coastal areas of the world.
3. Dumping waste into the rivers that flow to sea. Attracting the sharks.

I would say these are my top suspects. As the food chain is depleted and we dump millions of tons of waste into the ocean we are essentially “chum fishing” the sharks. And also throwing all that scent of food into the water. For example, slaughter house run off is also “putting blood in the water” to attract sharks.

Now to get everyone all riled up could this be part of climate change and “GLOBAL WARMING”. Bringing this up is more dangerous than swimming in a Louisiana river with Bull Sharks and alligators. Yikes!

It very well could be.

All over the world we are reprogramming the planet’s thermosphere, atmosphere and biosphere in a haphazard, unregulated and uniformed way. It is a dangerous game of ricochet that we are icurrently involved in. And we haven’t even begun to catalog, let alone understand all the problems of cascading bio-physical events yet.

Years ago there was an old old commercial, I used to see in good old Cleveland, Ohio that warned of “Drug Interaction” when you took your prescription drugs and other drugs that could caused unintended side effects.

This is what we are seeing now with Global Warming, Climate change and Bull Sharks in Fresh Water, unintended side effects.
(In my opinion).

Instead of fighting over the flash point phrases like “Global Warming”, we really need to take a real hard look at the true nature of our current reality.

So what do I see? Yikes!

I see accelerated change in the weather, animal behavior, cancer related deaths in humans.

I see economic systems that are fragile and people whose jobs depend on them very frightened they will lose what they have worked hard for.

I see that most people are lining up on one side of the Global Warming debate or the other.

And the world leadership and talk show hosts are creating a chasm in ideas so two sides can line up and fight each other. Using this chasm of ideas to consolidate political, social or economic power to themselves.

The starting point to cross the chasm of ideas is dignity and respect.
Here are my points to start to figure this all out.

1. We all deserve dignity and respect.
2. The world deserves dignity and respect.

This is the starting point.

Otherwise in the chasm of ideas that we choose a side to stand on, we now know that “monsters” of our own creation are swimming. These “monsters” can be the human variety of terrorists, fanatics and villains.

Or the Bull sharks in what we thought were safe fresh water river ways.

Either way, its time to bridge the divide in understanding , for all our sakes.
